║ GT-HELP ║ Types of Bulletins Available
╚═════════╩════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
There are several different types of bulletin available under GT :
a) Logon Bulletin - GTBULLET.?BS - displayed automatically to callers,
and usually used for 'newsflash' type announcements.
b) Customised Bulletins - BULLETn.?BS - displayed to callers at a
particular access level when they log on. They serve a similar
purpose as the logon bulletin, but you create them for particular
types of user - eg other sysops or beta testers.
c) Numbered bulletins
These are the bulletins listed in the Bulletins menu - they are
not shown automatically to anybody, but must be selected by the
caller.
GT-Help also shows the Bye files in the bulletins menu. You can think
of a bye file as a logoff bulletin. GTBYE.?BS is shown to all callers,
and the GTBYEn.?BS variants (probably rarely used) are also shown
to users that qualify for the BULLETn.?BS files.
